Upward Bound provides students who are low-income and/or first generation the skills and motivation necessary to complete high school and to enter and succeed in a program of postsecondary education.
We are one of more than 750 Upward Bound programs thoughout the country. Since 1995, the ÐÓ°É Upward Bound program has opened the door to a more prosperous future for over 200 high school students. Over 95% of COS Upward Bound graduates complete high school.
There is no cost to a student's family for applying or for services provided. The Upward Bound Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and also supported by the ÐÓ°É and many schoool districts in Siskiyou County.
