The mission of Financial Aid Office is to assist students and their families in funding educational costs at ÐÓ°É. We are committed to removing financial barriers that would otherwise prevent students from achieving their educational goals. In addition, we strive to deliver high quality services with professional competency and concern. The Financial Aid process starts by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
2026-2027 FAFSA Available Now – For enrollment in Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027
Complete the 2026-2027 by June 30, 2027.

Complete the 2026-2027 by April 2, 2026. Students attending a California Community College can apply by September 2, 2026.
California Dream Act Application - CADAA
The California Dream Act Application allows eligible undocumented students and certain non resident documented students to apply for the California College Promise Grant (CCPG) and other forms of California state financial aid, provided they meet specific requirements.

It is the student's responsibility to stay informed of deadlines and financial aid status by logging onto frequently. The Financial Aid Office will only communicate through COS email accounts. The office will not respond to personal email accounts. COS uses Microsoft Office 365 for student's email and other web-based Office programs. Students can access Office 365 account by logging into mySiskiyous and choosing the Email & Microsoft 365 card on the Home tab.

Students must keep their student information up to date; log onto mySiskiyous or submit a form.
PHOTO ID! All students must provide their photo ID at the Financial Aid window and during Zoom appointments before we can release information.
